Wish I could share your optimism Sekrah, but assuming he runs something in the 0 or 1 range would mean three figs of around 1 or better within 7 weeks on three different surfaces (1st 2 being synth and slop).  Could it be done?  Sure, there is plenty of precedent for it, assuming he is one of the heartier horses out there, but there is also some precedent against it happening and I am rather neutral on him.

Also a little shaky on NecknNeck, his huge negative number might have been a long-time knockout.  Again, it will depend on how hearty a horse he is, and we simply don\'t know.  For every horse that has put up a figure this low and gotten back to it within 90 days, there are probably 2 or 3 others that needed at least 90 days to get back to it, if they ever did at all.

Nonios is a toss off the \"1st back after a new top trying dirt first out after a long synth line\" angle, which has been an amazingly consistent angle to play against.  Alpha I dislike based on odds, Bernardini over 9f, but am still wary based on the lack of pace in the race.

This race seems to have all the makings of a huge jump-up surprise.  Zito burns me more often than not in spots like these, and am also taking a very long look at Atigun based on breeding and potential to have a number jump.  Steelcase and Street life also seem like possibilities.  A very tough race, but good luck either way.

This horse seems like a Brilliant Speed type to me..Always runs good figures but never actually wins races..I gave up on Brilliant speed and I like this one even less..Going with Neck and Neck (BEst number) and Alpha (Best trip and good number)

Contested is not an ordinary 3 year old filly..The pace setup of that race was bound to have the closers rolling home late and Willy Beamin was as good as any closer there..Whatever Dutrow has given this one has been evident for three races already so why wouldn\'t you play him??

agreed but that is unfortunately part of the handicapping process.  For 3 races this horse has been phenomenal so drugs or no drugs he was a horse to be included.  Saginaw was picked to win the met mile pretty much doing the same thing this horse is doing against so I don\'t see why there is an issue with this one.
