Yep, people can second guess the manager all they want but if the Met infielders could simply execute the fundamentals this series would be headed back to KC.

How about getting a hit with the bases loaded, nobody out, and my pitcher is mowing them down like a machine?  Ugh.

The most overrated error in history.

Yeah, he whiffed a grounder. But others contributed to that meltdown long before that happened.

And if the Astros had been able to do that then the Royals might not have even been in the WS. But the Royals have just out-executed everybody they\'ve played. I don\'t think they get enough credit for just how good their defense is. And their bullpen is a total shutdown.
