Lost in the Fog wasn\'t undefeated at the end of his 3YO season.  He was off the board in the BC Sprint.

Agreed Chinn\'s is an excellent choice.  Besides the great seafood, good steaks as well.  The Mai Tais are a must have.

Agree it was a huge race by Majestic Zeal.  I\'m glad to see its not a walkover for the ultra chalk and maybe next time the finish gets reversed.

I may have mixed up Pussycat Doll and Behaving Badly.  The winner was wide throughout in that race.

FWIW, it was Bushfire, not Joint Effort, who won the Acorn.  For some reason, Bushfire gets no respect.

Weren\'t Sacred Light and Pussycat Doll beaten favorites that day?  Sacred Light was a non-threatening 2nd and PD looked like a winner until she went to the rail in the stretch.  And they were both beaten by horses who stayed well out in the middle of the track.

There seems to be a trackman/chartman at Churchill who has been tremendously exaggerating what path each horse is in.  I remember this happening in the mid 90s at Gulfstream.  3 wide would be labeled anywhere from 7-9 wide.  They must be using Shetland ponys to figure path-width at Equibase.

Like him or not, \"Betting Thoroughbreds\" is one of the best handicapping books ever written.  There\'s more than one way to skin a cat; T-Graph/the Sheets may be one way, but a lot of Davidowitz\'s \"ancient\" ideas still work.

I wouldn\'t exactly say he \"crushed\" Kelly\'s Landing.  :22 for an opening quarter for a 6f race at Churchill is slow.  Look at most 6f races there and :21 3/5 is the norm.  There must be a long run to the beam that starts the timer for the 6f races.  In any event, Kelly\'s Landing was wider than LItF was, and had to close on a softish pace and he still wasn\'t beaten much.

Don\'t forget Union City.

If Barbaro is 4-5, Brother Derek will be no higher than 3-1.  And no way in the world Bernardini is bet lower than SNS.  I don\'t care what kind of number he ran in the match race Withers.

Better get ready for 9-2.  Maybe even 4-1

I interpret \"most likely winner\" to mean they/he felt that the horse would be the favorite but probably wouldn\'t be value.  The horse certainly could win the race but there really wasn\'t a compelling reason to bet it at the given price.

I\'m not sure why the strong respect for Bernadini.  He basically won a match race in a one turn mile against Luxembourg and won a one turn mile against maidens at GP.  Unless they make the Preakness a one turn mile, he doesn\'t have a chance to finish in front of either BD or SNS, let alone Barbaro.  And he might not beat Like Now, either.

Morbid?  He wasn\'t on my tickets.  I found it quite pleasant actually.
