I will be grading all future redboards (style points included), or simply
responding to them with a brief \"Let me be the second to congratulate you!\"

For those looking to redboard with panache, try to avoid the oft repeated
\"Thank you\" redboard (which always reminds me of the \"Thank you, God\" scene in
\"Animal House\"); the \"My $75 double got knocked down to $35 after the gate
closed\" is also wearisome and transparent.

Without further ado, the Redboard of the Year Award (2015) goes to Albatross.

First let me say that I hope you enjoy your score. I hope there were extra
presents under the tree. I hope that Tahoe you were planning to buy has become
a Suburban. Kudos and admiration if this score brought the yearly ledger from
red to black. If this is what Fred G. Sanford used to call \"The Big One\", enjoy
it now and as you say never forget it.

BUT

To redboard the largest win mutuel in the history of racing, while calmly
assuring us all that you are not redboarding, well, as Hank Williams sang,
\"You Win Again\", congrats, free lifetime admission to TG Saratoga seminars.

And in all seriousness if you would be kind enough to elaborate on the thought
process, TG and otherwise, which resulted in this bet, it might help us all be
better players (this is a community after all, even though we are in constant
competition with each other).

I don\'t know. The stuff I\'m annoyed by is the redboarding when others have stuck their neck out beforehand, like with ROTW. And his comments here were sheets and pattern specific. I\'m okay with it.

But no, I would not have bet that horse.

Boscar Obarra

Safe to say, the anomaly here was the payoff, not the fact that a horse with the POSSIBILITY of circling back to a mediocre number that MIGHT be good enough to win a race with bounce candidates, actually won.

You\'d never get that price in NY.  And they\'ll be making quite a few bets trying to get lightning to strike twice. None of which will be posted unless they win.
