It\'s here again and the contestants have been prepping all week with Oriental massage treatments, various supplements and I\'ve heard TGJB is in town early to avoid train lag. Out of competition testing and the detention barn have been waived due to Moosepalm shipping from Finger Lakes. Has the western NY track ever had a positive?

Sean seems to be the public choice but few think he can pair or God forbid top last years performance.

Richiebee will provide the gory final details as well as the Saturday update as I am being kidnapped by a band of old hippies and Dead Heads to the outer reaches of far North Eastern Vermont for the weekend, missing what looks like a great Whitney.

But:
Before I\'m off to where the Moose and Caribou play!!!!

Kelly Rubley returns to the scene of the crime with St Albans Boy, my 21/1 birthday present last year. Back where he belongs after trying some heavier stakes competition this one fits very well here with a strong series of works at Fair Hill. A win bet and exacta box are in order with Messi as well as a double into Fine Instincts in the 7th to be continued into the pick 3 with the 3,4 & 7 in the 8th race.

Uncle Bill and Richie, save me a spot I\'ll be there by 2:00 today.

Good luck,

Frank D

Frank,
Nice exacta in the 8th.

For anyone playing golf tomorrow in the TG Open, please be aware that there is no water on the course. It\'s been taken out so bring your own. There should be a beverage cart on the course when we are playing but that is usually hit and miss.

Obviously, don\'t take your lasix shot closer to four hours before tee time.

T-generates were coming out of the woodwork today; it must be the excitement of the TG open.

On an overcast Thursday in the back yard we had TGJB, Uncle Bill, Richiebee, Michael D, Fairmont and crew invading from Missouri, yearly weekend visitors David and Steve, Warren came in from Boston and a couple more stopped by whose names I did not get. Moosepalm was in town yesterday and was missed today, must have been sneaking in a practice round

St Albans Boy couldn\'t make the place spot in the 6th creating a nice hole to start the day. Carlos Martin is suddenly relevant again as his 20/1 shot with blinkers added made the lead and stayed on for 2nd splitting my exacta. SeƱor Martin is said to have changed vets, information that gamblers just don\'t need to know.

Thanks for the congrats P-Dub on the exacta I didn\'t have and was properly admonished by TGJB for not having it. Like an idiot I fooled around with tri\'s and supers rather than simply boxing the 3 horses I liked in the race for $185.00
The double with the 7 into Ready for Rye not only saved the day but landed moi on the correct side of the ledger for the meet so far, I\'m up about 3 bologna sandwiches!!! Robe from the HOT HOT HOT Mott & Junior combination ruined my pick 4, so hot is Mr Mott he can win from the 13 hole, 11th actual starting position on the Mellon out 18 feet. It\'s not the inner but still far from the post de jour with a short run into the first turn. Great ride by Junior to get to the 2 path from out there.

Fun day, nice to see the new and familiar faces, I\'m off to the wilds of Vermont for the weekend but have a reservation in front of my friends TV for the Whitney coverage and may even make a wager or 2.

Good luck to all, simply awesome racing card on Saturday, look at the sale prices in the 2 yr old races.

Frank, sorry I missed you and the other T-Gen\'s yesterday, and even sorrier that I\'ll miss you on the weekend.  When you\'re up there with the Vermont ex-hippies and Deadheads, be sure to look carefully at any mushroom toppings they put on the pizza.  If you\'re back on Monday, I\'ll definitely stop by.  Yesterday, I was the guest of friends in the new \"sports bar.\"  I have a lengthy critique to offer, but I\'ll have to save it for after the meet, or else Richie will yell at me today for posting non-handicapping material.

As far as my Finger Lakes training regimen for the TG Open, I\'ve prepped with some of their classic 4 1/2 furlong sprints, along with a new feed program of local favorites, Genesee Cream Ale, Buffalo wings and garbage plates, which means I\'ll hit a wall after the third hole and hoping they have what my family elders would have called a \"bock-houza\" (sp?) nearby.  Good luck to all today.

To show what a moron I am, I followed my own advice, brought three bottles of water, and left them in my car.
