Looks like a good race. The inescapable fact is that Madcap Escapade was involved in her tightest race last and it was at two turns.

A lot has been made that Jerkens supposedly said \"ME\" reminded him of Ruffian. I don\'t know what he meant by that for sure. It could be the large winning margins, maybe her conformation. But Ruffian had stakes wins in record time at a slew of different tracks. She was a CCA Oaks winner. ME has nice dosage and CD (better than Ruffian) but its counterfeit. Old Dosage is more valuable than new dosage. A Storm Cat grandkid out of a Saratoga Six mare is pushing the two turn envelope. But ME\'s wins were at Hallandale, lets not get carried away by front running efforts there.

Ashado looks perfectly poised to turn the tables. Troubled last giving the new Ruffian five pounds, she closed the gap and the even weights and added distance look to further tighten it. Theres some speed in here too. Its hard to see ME getting a dream trip. They say Halfbridled was \"horseing\" so she may not be set to show her best. What do ya think odds on on ME?

on a wet fast track (especially if speed is holding), even money. if the track is not that fast, however, we could see a lot of money trying to beat her. could drift as high as 2-1.
