Not that getting the Frenchman off your horse is anything but A very good thing, but would be curious if JCovello would comment whether Leparoux actually chose to get off his faster horse, power alert, to stay with the filly, ageless, for the Jaipur.

He already has. I\'ll let him speak for himself. I do like the Post draw with a slow gate horse next to him.

Silver -- big concern here is the condition of turf courses Saturday.

Weather now absolutely beautiful here in midtown Manhattan. If there is no rain
between now and Saturday (TG has Frank D interfacing with NWS and DoD, not to
mention Trackjohn looking out his window, so we will have no shortage of weather
information), I would imagine firm turf is a possibility.

Hey Rob,

Hope you are well.

Julien took the mount on Ageless when we had decided to go to Evangeline. He couldn\'t get out of his mount when we redirected to the Jaipur because of the weather in Lou.

As Richie mentioned, the condition of the turf course is the key. He hates it soft, loves it firm. If we get it firm, he will run his race.

I was there for his breeze on Sunday and the horse is doing fabulously but he can\'t stand up on a soft turf course so that is the key.

Johnny breezed him on Sunday for us and we had a fascinating conversation about the breeze and also the Belmont itself and American Pharoah. I don\'t think he would want me to share what he assumed was a private conversation but I will say this, he is one extremely bright and articulate guy. Very impressive.

Good luck to all this weekend. I will be there on Sat and would love to buy a drink for anyone of the TGers that make the trip!

Jim looking at the #\'s its a pretty good spot for him. If it doesn\'t rain anymore then the course is gonna be firm. All I heard was how concrete hard it was and 2 inches of rain is probably what the green grass needed. As far as the distance goes well I guess its time to find out, because if he can then we all know \"It Never Rains In Southern California\" and it never hurts to be looking ahead.

BTW I\'ve got a best pal heading up. They have a punchers chance in the Manhatten. Its too crazy on those days to say try and meet and greet. Move around etc etc. Enjoy the day enjoy the moment. Say hello to Terri. She needs to be in this winners circle picture ;-)

Lol,

Thanks Silver. You\'re the best. I will pass that along to her.
