A lot of work is gonna be put in to beat AP in this last leg and if you have consistently bet against the 11-12 horses going for the Triple Crown over the last 38 years then you have at least been half right. Meaning they didn\'t win.

One side thing to consider is Baffert does seem to know what he is doing with this trip. Silver Charm ran well he just beat by a good horse. Real Quiet got nailed by another horse who had run in all 3 Triple Crown races. He easily could have won that head bob. War Emblem lost all chance when he went to his knees at the break. Point Given didn\'t win the Derby but pretty much romped in the Preakness and Belmont. Even Bayern last year, ran in the Arkansas Derby, ran in the Derby Trial, ran in the Preakness and romped by 7 in the Woody Stephens running a New Top.

I\'m not predicting an AP victory. But someone else will need to fire to beat him. Which can easily happen. But this Trainer knows what he doing with this type of cramped spacing....
