Does anyone have any info concerning why he didn\'t have a race until 3/7?  He had 7 published works starting 1/17 and weekly after that before the race.  Of course it could just be TAP slowly building him up, but were there any \"issues\"over the winter?

bstaubs22: The plan all along was for Carpe Diem to have a 2 race schedule going into the Derby. Owned by Winstar Farm, they used this same 2 prep format in 2010 with Super Saver and won.
