Smoke. And no decolletage...

I haven\'t been to Las Vegas in about twenty years, but
I have pleasant memories of my last stay, which was at
Caesar\'s Palace for the Larry Holmes vs. Gerry Cooney
fight of the early eighties. I remember the excitement in
the air as fight time approached - the same feeling racing
fans sense as horses approach the gate for a big race like
the Kentucky Derby or Belmont Stakes.

One fond memory of my stays at Caesar\'s Palace, is the
outfits the cocktail waitresses wore. They wore these \"wench\"
robe numbers - white cloth with gold trim? - which revealed
and enhanced the server\'s decolletage and bust. [Sorry if this
sounds sexist. My only excuse is that I just have a lot of
all-American red blood cells. Can\'t help it. I notice.]

Fast forward to Saturday. My racing buddies here in Manhattan
convinced me to take a road trip to the Mohegan Sun Casino
and racebook in Connecticut for the Florida Derby card. I won\'t
bore anyone with a review of the place, but I will reveal two
disappointments there.

One certainly has to do with my personal displeasure of having
to inhale smoke from smokers. [Even thought there are designated
\"no smoking\" sections at the facility, the ventilation system doesn\'t
prevent smoke from filtering into other areas. And finding me!]
A major bummer.

Two, the cocktail waitresses should have lower cut uniforms.
[I can just hear someone out there in cyberspace say: \"So what
do you want \'em to wear, shmuck? Indian outfits? Hey... that\'s
an interesting idea, given the owners and motif of the place.]
Just gimme more decolletage. Like the Caesar\'s Palace girls
of the eighties.
