Romans wheeling Medal Count right back in the Blue Grass

The only thing I know about the Keenland polytrack is that it\'s impossible to know ahead of time which horses will like it and which horses won\'t so betting horses that you know like it is typically the right move

Look at the Lexingtom last year, Winning Cause wins the race.  He\'s wasn\'t fast and wasn\'t good on any other surface but he loved that stuff.

It\'s certainly better if they are fast AND you know they like it (i.e. Rosalind) but if you know one likes it and most of the others haven\'t run on it, bet the one you know that likes it as long as they aren\'t too heavy of a favorite (which Ramsey will assure isn\'t the case on Saturday).  Ramsey said today he loved his jockey.  Singing quite a different tune today than after the fit he threw after the Breeders Cup Juvy Turf when he said Javier would never ride for him again!

I will roll the Translyvania profits right back on Medel Count on Saturday

I totally agree and what I was thinking covelj70 when I looked at the PP\'s!
Ramsey saying \"you will never see him on this or any my horses again\" lol after the BC, whatever I am sorry but I think Ramsey is a POS! lol Try paying your trainers bills Mr. Ramsey is all I have to say! Here is hoping that CC goes off the big favorite in the Derby cause I still wouldn\'t bet him with stolen money at CD going 1 1/4. I think Medal Count has to be a big factor come Saturday.

Medal Count, Coastline, and Asserting Bear are horses I would use in the BG Stakes.

The Blue Grass final leg of an all Graded stake P5 on Saturday...

FrankD.

58 entries for those 5 Stakes; a .50 cent bet with a 19% takeout and probably a half million plus pool. AWESOME!!!

Kudos to Keeneland for their 19% take out on all exotic wagers. Clueless Kay and the NY stooges should take note.

I\'m already chomping at the bit for Keeneland\'s return to dirt and the pool sizes that will coincide with it.

A good bit of rain on Friday in Lexington; let\'s hope the turf courses dry, Saturday looks great!

Good Luck,

Frank D.

Agree with everything you said, I bet the horse in last as well. He was fast going in and was just through his two year old number so was sitting on a race { fact that he likes Kee did not hurt, Kee was his 2 year old top...wheel back is logical, should get similar effort this weekend}... That said he got a perfect rail trip in last. Assuming he will be at least the solid second choice in race. I am pretty sure I might be tempted to do some odds shopping once I see the entire fields TG numbers...Just saying...

The Bluegrass looks to be another interesting Keeneland handicapping challenge. But, does it really have any Kentucky Derby relevance other than to add a couple of horses to finish alongside Midnight Hawk. (who could be a rabbit for Hoppertunity?)

Medal Count was 12/1 on the morning line for the Transylvania. Maybe the odds maker was not privy to some info that those who backed this co-favorite were. Sure, getting through on the inside of the second turn made him look dominant and a failure to do so would have had the opposite effect.

Does the public deserve to know when a horse is training like a champion? Of course not, it would be too difficult to implement and also eliminate an insider advantage which is a part of the games fabric.

Parlay the winnings? That looks like a brave move to this outsider. However I gotta love fanaticism (as in sports fans..CC, UConn, Alonso, Rousey, whoever).

Those who get the points - Belong it is a simple system. But the weights are truly dumb.
