Not going to lament over the bad beat with Moreno on Saturday (back wheel $40 doubles).
Had a bad feeling when Capo Bastone came from the clouds despite heading into the Travers with a $58 number. Something was obviously done to that track (Phipps royalty complaining?)
If they run the race on the track that was in play at 4pm, Moreno wins for fun.

Good Luck,

Hi Joe B,

Phipps no longer royal in NY Racing, influence wise. For the past 3-4 years speed figure makers have been perplexed by the slow raw time of the Travers, relative to the one turn races on the same day(slow pace yesterday made time worse).Travers always a fig making problem as the only two turn dirt race of the day.

Typical of projection voodoo/creative license, Beyer gave the Travers a ridiculous 107 in spite of the pedestrian pace and final time with no quarter breaking 24 seconds.

The absurdity of projection voodoo gets greater when you see Game On Dude getting a Beyer of 105, notwithstanding Del Mar playing exceptionally fast(the time of the race under review and perhaps the Beyer figure)

So when/if Game On Dude and Will Take Charge square off, remember WTC\'s last race is faster than GOD, Brilliant!!!

P.S. Beyer changed GOD to a 109

Not even close to doing the work, but yeah, pretty unlikely the Travers went faster than the PAC Classic. Voodoo or not.

Is it possible that Moreno was around at the end of that race because of the way the track was playing all day?

Capo was running like a freight train compared to rest of the field in a 7 furlong race that commonly is a distance that with a full field falls apart on the front end.  In these instances, the speed was still around at the end of the King\'s Bishop and the Travers just not posting the victory.
