Tim Lincecum definitely fits the moniker of an \" OUCHIE\" with a back number. A 2 time CY Young award winner labeled as the freak who has struggled to say the least the past 2 years.

After being on the losing end of a NO NO in his last start he comes out and throws a 148 pitch, 13 strikeout No Hitter last night. A big new top for sure.
The All Star break will give him good rest into his next start; probably 8 days.
Does he pair up, move forward or BOUNCE???

Good Luck,

Frank D.

Skinny Timmy?  He\'ll bounce like Skip Away in the Derby . . . \"To the Moon, Alice . . . to the MOON\"

Frank D,

Physically reminds me of a right handed Ron Guidry. Not much in the way of physical attributes.Always bet these guys are gonna go arm dead after some time.

Dont Sports bettors always bet against after a no no?

Mike

P.S. Javirr Castellano serving early notice he intends on being leading jock at SPA?

Mike,

No doubt JJ is ready to roll; a swing by Oklahoma this morning confirmed your post from the other day about Chad Brown, the whole barn is chomping at the bit for this meet. JJ for them and more Pletcher horses for him this year by far than is past years.

Back to very hot and humid this week until Thursday up here, cooler on the weekend low 80\'s per speculative long range forecast. NOT FROM THE WEATHER CHANNEL

Good luck,

Frank D.

Dead-on . . . his mechanics virtually dictate an unfortunate end . . . too bad.

Betting against pitchers in their start after having thrown a no hitter or perfect game is a long standing betting angle. Worked against Homer Bailey last week, who was  actually a favorite on the road.

Also works against pitchers that have thrown a complete game shutout if that isn\'t the norm. (Usually pitch around 6 innings and aren\'t dominate pitchers)

Why do you say his mechanics are poor??  Its more about how they are used and what type of pitches they throw.  Strausberg and Pryor threw hard snapping breaking pitches along with upper 90\'s heat.  That had a lot to do with their physical breakdowns as much as mechanics. Same with Koufax.

I saw Koufax mid 60\'s at Crosley Field.  Bandbox.  Still can\'t remember anyone hitting him.

Even though it isn\'t a \"bounce\" issue off a shutout....

With all of the PED talk surrounding baseball, thought this might be the right thread to point out what others already have including the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Mike and Mike on espn.

If Ryan Braun, Alex Rodriguez, and at least 18 others are connected to illegal, performance enhancing substances through biogenesis, why didn\'t the super testing of mlb catch any of these guys?  And what does this say about so called \"super testing\" in horse racing?

Tyson Gay proclaimed to be clean, clean, clean and he tests positive.  Maybe testing is catching up to the users/private chemists, etc.

I don\'t know the answers but thought I would throw it out there.  It seems some measures in sports work and others don\'t.  Keokomi should be all over this topic I would think.

I know for a fact cheaters usually get caught in our game, a vet said so here, based on inside knowledge.
