You are the Man!!!!

covelj70

Thanks buddy. Huge day out here. One for the ages.

This one will keep me coming back.

Appreciate it.

Silver Charm

Give us the play-by-play Diary version later when you and the kids get home safe and sound.

Congrats Jim!!!

covelj70

Thanks alot. Will do. Might be tomorrow but will give rundown. It involved a rather large single of Poe

TreadHead

Yep, have to give you credit for that.  I got exactly what I wanted in the running of the race, POE dropped back to near last and got off the rail, and he was still good enough to win.  Congrats on a big day!

plasticman

Why is he the man? Fill us in!

TMW

Unfortunately POE got hurt in the race -- condylar fracture. Surgery required.

louisvilleguy1111

I think because he liked Point of Entry. LOL yeah I know... it\'s hilarious!

On a side note.

Oxbow is just one solid TB in my book. This is a horse that ran totally against the pace in the Derby and still beat 13 horses, ran away with the Preakness (you better believe I bet him and still pissed Orb can\'t run 2nd!!) and then showed he is totally legit by running another big race in the Belmont. It would be kinda cool if Calumet was to rise from the ashes once again with Lucas training... here is to hoping we see more horses wearing the Black with Gold Chevrons in the winners circle on big race days!

Louisville,

You will have to ask fjmb what he meant for sure but I think he might have been refering to my post on Palice Malice.

I liked both Palice Malice and Overanlze.  Posted on them both

Saw how track was favoring speed so played PM pretty signifciantly

Also hit the pk 6 (which paid small) and a very large pk 4 by singling POE and using him with PM, OA and Orb in the pk 4.

no redboarding here, posted all of this ahead of time.

your post implies you have some issues with me, as I\'ve said before, line for that bandwagon goes around the corner and up the west side highway!

louisvilleguy1111

In no way does my post imply that I have a problem with you...

Someone asked why someone said \"you the man\" and from reading past posts which I admit I do not do as often as most on here, I just knew you thought POE had to win on Saturday, so I posted the comment I did.

Sorry that you felt I need to line up with others from your past... A line that long is nothing to brag about, I wouldn\'t think. Once again sorry for making you think I am just another poster that needs to line up with the other haters. Truth is I could never be a hater simply cause I don\'t care what you or anyone else on these forums bet, lol

Take care and always good luck to you with your future wagers.

Then why the original comment?

\"A line that long is nothing to brag about, I wouldn\'t think.\"

Are you kidding? It\'s a message board. If you don\'t have a bunch of people hating your guts, it means you\'re worthless.

And another one takes a number for the Curtis line!

Now serving 73. 73? Number 73? Who\'s got 73???

covelj70

this is absolutely priceless, I love this!

I had a similar conversation with Serling Saturday night when a few of us got together after the Belmont. He was complaining about the pounding he takes (including apparently from one of the posters here, in another forum), and I told him it comes with the territory, if you\'re out in public expressing opinions. Imagine the incoming Maddow and Hannity take.

But Serling, Maddow and Hannity at least don\'t have to deal with people blasting them ON THEIR OWN SHOW. Some of us do.

Meanwhile, I made sure to let Andy know Friedman called him and Jason clowns last week. Heh-heh.
