Just Guessing...

Some of you may recall that earlier this year I pointed out that Ragozin had the Delaware Oaks going really slow (wrong, as evidenced by the first two finishers coming back to run 1-2 in the Alabama). Well, one of them (Island Fashion) came back to destroy the La Brea field Saturday-- and while I\'m not going to say she was a bet on TG (she was not, given the weight and post), she at least was fast enough to be a contender, and had a good pattern.

You also might recall that I\'ve pointed out  several times now that Ragozin (Friedman) has the So. Cal sprint figures WAY to fast, so here\'s my guess-- they had Island Fashion WAY to slow to compete against the local fillies, and ended up giving her some kind of incredible jump up figure. She ran a new top, all right-- but not the 7 or 8 point jump Friedman probably gave her.
