Outstanding reporting by Hegarty on this piece.  Vet banned, trainer\'s win rate goes down in Florida.....very interesting....and what was in THAT syringe?  Just some more legal stuff that\'s being \"abused?\"  I\'d argue if it was anything other than the two permitted raceday medications, it was a BANNED substance.  Others on this forum would certainly disagree especially if the horse came up with a positive after its race if this discovery never happened pre-race.  Others would merely say, \"Oh a horse was just a few nanograms over the limit for a therapeutic substance\" or \"what a joke, can\'t they do better than this?\"
