I\'d like to wish everyone a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year in 2013.

Thanks to TGJB and the crew for the free week of data; it\'s always a nice touch and greatly appreciated. I\'ll add that no rousing success stories of profit were attained here!

It\'s January 1st and calendar day at the BIG A. Hopefully 2013 sees the \" NEW NYRA\" getting NY racing back to where it once was or at least marketing a viable product that draws some interest from other corners than the hard core regulars.

I woke up this morning to the visual of Richiebee circumnavigating the pigeon\'s path at the Big A to the curried goat concession stand with several free NYRA calendars tucked under his arm while sipping on a Red Stripe..  I have no doubt the the lines for spinners today will be far less then blanket day at the Spa.

A mere 200 days to opening day!!!!!

Good luck,

Frank D.

...and it\'s also a TUESDAY with the top tracks running on both coasts.

So why not take advantage of the TG Tuesday Special?

* Full card Sheets / Thoro Quick / Mini TQ / Analysis

* mix \'n\' match, any and ALL tracks

* one price: $25 for everything (excluding Sheet requests)

Great deal!

Frank:

Happy New Year. Of course I made my yearly trek to Ozone Park to load up on
calendars. I am not going to rant about the quality of racing at NYRA tracks
anymore because I heard Andy Serling (or was it Rod Serling?) compliment the
racing office on the great job they were doing filling races. Whatever. I think
five of the first six races on Saturday\'s card are maiden races, looks like
another winter where GP will get 90% of my much reduced action.

I don\'t know if the Jamaican food spot is still there, but I usually walk the
length of the stretch through the Racino to get me some Popeye\'s chicken, or stop
at the sometimes fantastic New Park Pizza on Cross Bay Blvd for a couple of
slices.

As winter sets in, along with the decline of racing in NY, one appreciates the need for comfort food.  The new IPad friendly Thorograph website will also have a link to \"The Food Network\" and a coupon exchange program for free special condiments. Thorograph customers can look forward to every Tuesday being Fat Tuesday.
