This is pretty much totally up in the air right now. I guess if somebody had to speculate on the current favorite it might be Game on Dude. Has a bit of a Home Field advantage in his next two races but I think Voters need to keep a more open mind.

His trip to Dubai was a flop. Since then he returned and has raced exclusively on the West Coast. I guess if he wins the next two he wins but I like somebody else. Somebody who has gotten better and better as the year has gone by. That is Point of Entry. If he can win on Saturday (no sure thing), travel to Santa Anita and win (a huge challenge on that firmer Turf). he will have raced in Florida to begin the year, Keeneland as he moved north, hit the NYRA Circuit and then gone west to face more of the best. And yet if he gets beat on Saturday by Little Mike he probably does even win the Eclipse in his own Division because Mike will have the Woodford, The Million and beaten him at his game on his home track.

Shackelford is a complete outsider. The Saratoga debacle totally cost him. Starting the year slowly was one thing but laying an egg then skipping the Forego puts him behind the eight ball and he needs major flops from all of the above.

After this there really isnt much of anyone else. Going into Breeders Cup Day the candidates with a seat at the table are only gonna be a few. After Saturday we should have a pretty good idea who gets sit in one.....

Point of Entry held his serve. We will see what Game on Dude does in his next. I underestimated what really soft turf can do to 1,100 lb animal but this one had to be worked for. I have it from a good source that in his last race at The Spa he was begging the jock the entire trip to let him run and the Jock was communicating \"not until I tell you when.\" This horse is an athlete. Bring on Acclimation and the Euro\'s....

Agreed. With 3 losses in 5 starts this year going into today she wasnt on the radar. However earned a seat at the dinner table with that performance. Maybe needs to beat the Colts however...
