I would like to know how the track played on this day at Santa Anita. Any conditions present (wind, drying out track) that could have made the track faster as the day progressed? I like Action This Day in the Juvy but his final time is 2 full seconds slower than the filly Halfbridled ran later in the card. The quarter times are all faster in his race although they apparently crawled to the wire. Granted comparing a MSW to a graded stake is bad, but was there really that much difference between the them. First time poster, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Dana

the enite day on the 28th the track was very very deep and tiring- stalkers and outside types fared better than inside paths, but the key is the track was dead; when it\'s very hot and dry that can happen to the santa anita main track & it seems that was the case that day. the track didn\'t change much it was the same all day. hope this helps.
