Early December has to be the low point of the racing season.  I haven\'t found 1 race this past week that I was interested in playing.  I\'m not sure whether to dive right into Santa Anita or wait a bit to see how the surface is playing.

Silver Charm: Thats a good point about the SA surface and also who will like it. They have been running on cushion for the last three yrs so there is not a lot of dirt form out west anymore.

Good point about Tampa and Calder also. Decent places to find some spot plays on grass or small Stakes races.
