This is a good enough betting race.

I do believe EFF will make his presence known and probably hold on to win, but I am tempted to try and beat him. I think PP will run a big race and the pace will set up for him. The comments have EFF drifting in last, but I remember that he didn\'t seem to be urged too greatly either. Workout at .58 flat is impressive.

GOD, Aikenite and Miner\'s Reseve are interesting longshots, but I will proabably use them underneath PP and EFF. Borel might bring HI into the tri or super, too, but I see this as PP/EFF exact or over the other four in some tri-super bets.

I feel like they\'re going to try to rate EFF early today and this horse looks un-rateable, after Ramon figures out he can\'t be rated he\'ll let him loose, hopefully the little bit of fighting the rider early costs him in the end..I feel confident trying to beat him especially at the odds..the question is which one is going to beat him?? Still working on that..

Tough to find one, but his is carrying more weight and some of these can run. He had to crank his head sideways for the first furlong in last and he still won. I think he can be taken, but that horse can cruise. Weather may factor though and it may help him if he is out on firmest part of track and slop or sealed track amplifies his speed.

Just saw the weather reports..Agree with you that with the slop he\'ll probably carry his speed further...I hate slop..very small super and tri boxes throwing him out of the money just in case he bolts again..Have to see who scratches out.

Big bet on Miner\'s Reserve here.  Chased that Fla Derby pace out of the gate and was 4w around the turn, maybe even a bit rank as it got congested.  He never settled down and relaxed and Desormeaux shut it down before the stretch.  Poor judgement from Desormeaux sending this one from the gate to battle Rule.   He showed in his other two races that he can rate.  Torched the CD surface last week in a 4f work.   If he runs that race he ran on Feb 27th, he wins going away by 2 or 3 here.

Look at EFF\'s workouts.  :58?   Dominguez isn\'t going to rate this horse in his wildest dreams.  Stretching out with questionable distance pedigree, if he runs that 6 furlongs in 1:08.4 again, everybody will be passing him in the stretch. I\'ll pass and look to beat with Miner\'s Reserve.

Bet against Calvin/Super Saver at your own peril.

please don\'t kill my price. I\'m hoping for 15-1.

Once I saw Borel go right to and hug the rail, I said to myself, \"look out.\" He will give his horse the best chance if they keep the rail open for him this time.

Why would they name this race after The Cliff\'s Edge?   He never ran in it.  Where does CD come up with this logic?    Don\'t Get Mad would seem a better choice.  Won the race by a football field in 2005, got the earnings to run in the Derby and got 4th.

LaPenta (Cliff\'s Edge owner/breeder) agreed to sponsor the race for an additional $200k to market his sire.  Purse increased, and better field resulted.
