Richiebee, I swear this is the last time I will complain but...

....check out the entries for Keenland for Friday that just got posted.

There were 25 horses that entered for the G3 for fillies going long on the turf so they split the race into two divisions.

How can Keenland get 25 horses for 1 graded race when NYRA can barely get 25 for 5 graded races?

Both divisions of this race should be really good btw.

It has to be the coeds.......

They do treat you right in Lexington too......

A couple of those coeds offered to treat me right at Malone\'s at Palomar on Saturday night. Together, at least when they made the offer.

Were circumstances different...

I\'m confused.

\"A couple of those coeds offered to treat me right.\"

What does \"treat me right\" mean?  Find you a more comfortable chair?  Help you cross the street?  I know I\'m teaching my kids to be nice to old people...

If I had known that was what they meant I probably would have taken them up on it without feeling guilty.

I\'ve heard \"hang out with us later\" used to mean a lot of things, none of them involved help crossing the street.

I think you missed some of it.  You\'re hearing is going.  They said \"hang out with us later, after your nap.\"

This string reminds me of the first time I ever flew first class, which was on Singapore Airlines. Being young and from New York, I thought I was about to join the mile high club, but it turned out they were just being nice.

Friend went to HS with JB in \'65. 20 yr olds ??? Liking the board already who cares about the leader being a dirty old SOB with WIDE imagination. Show us the $$$ with win bets. First day on site

Before this gets out of hand, I need to point out I skipped a couple of grades.

Email me and tell me who you know I went to Stuvesant with. I\'m shocked anyone other than the teachers would remember me. And in their case not fondly.

Covel:

I can\'t believe a thread which begins with my nom de course degenerates
into a discussion of airborne hijinks and our host\'s formative years.

All Met fans must be dismayed to see the cover of the New York Post. Hard
to believe that Steve Phillips was responsible for evaluating Met talent. Clearly
the man\'s eye for talent is severely lacking.

Covel-- to answer your question/comment, tell the almighty Keeneland that they
have to have 30% of their races written for NY breds and 30-40% of the stable
areas at Kee and CD have to house NYBs. Oh and they have to race 300 days per
year. Part of the reason NYRA is devoid of competent officials and leadership is
the stranglehold the NYB slow rats have on NYRA. If it werent for the fact that
Racing is regressing in other venues (excepting maybe Kee, Tampa and Oaklawn) NYRA
racing would be a sinking ship.

Beauty is only a light switch away...

Seriously, talk about off topic.

gotta say, I love it though.

Although, I just landed from San Francisco and I flew first class and no one was all that nice to me so I must be doing something wrong!

Remember the compelling words of one Mr. W. Wonka:
