Well there was quite a discussion about his choke jobs in high profile races.  He added another one to the resume today and admitted post-race that he blew it.

This guy has won a lot of BC races, I guess you don\'t consider those \"Big Races\". He cpmpletely blew the ride on Giacomo. I mean c\'mon, that horse should have won by 5 lengths.

Almost blew it on Ravalo.  Explain how?? Just because a horse may appear to have others overmatched, doesn\'t always mean it happens. He does something that he supposedly never does. He split horses on the turn, came through up the rail saving all the ground, and won the race.

And this genius thinks he gave him a bad ride.

If you have managed to accomplish 5% in your profession of what Smith has accomplished in his, I would consider you pretty good at what you do.

I do know this...you are very accomplished at making ridiculous posts.

And to think the Smith bashing had ceased. Guess I\'m the I word.

Just saw the race...if there was a Jockey who could be criticized, you might start with Coa....the 111 lbs on the winner ...surely didn\'t hurt... nor did the 115 on BD.

Its easy to ride a 50-1 shot and keep him covered up and a million miles back. When you are 4-5 its hard to ride the same way, even though the horse needs a certain type of ride.
