My last thoughts on the way to the asylum!

*I said in many posts I didn\'t like the \"East Coast\" horses at all - why didn\'t I consider New Mexico \"West\"?!

*Brian Koriner must be sorry he didn\'t get Scorewithcater into the Derby!

*I said I liked Mine That Bird\'s workouts, but I also said he looked like a poly-track strider - just cause they run on polytrack doesn\'t mean they can\'t run on dirt, too!

*I loved Pioneerof the Nile ($500 to win, plus wheeled him in the exacta and trifecta and didn\'t backwheel - who doesn\'t backwheel in the Derby??? Only a moron) and he ran OK. Why did they select post 16? We knew there\'d be a good chance of an off track by Wednesday, apparently only Calvin Borel and myself (and Jerry Brown) know the rail is the place to be when it rains hard at CD - why do you pick post 16 when you have a choice??? I don\'t blame GG, he did everything right.

*Speaking of Calvin, did Chantall Sutherland turn down the mount on this horse to stay at Woodbine? Was he a replacement?

*Did IWR\'s late scratch have anything to do with Mullins being banned from training at Hollywood??? All his horses have been turned over to the assistant? Is this my imagination?

*I\'ll say one last thing, something was very fishy about this race (we may never know the details); if you were to tell me any horse would close from last and win by six lengths going away, I would have said you or the horse was was smoking something, and I\'m not, despite the tone of this, a sore loser - if he did it legitimately, more power to him. . .oh, well, maybe they have milkshakes in the asylum. I could go for a chocolate one. . .
