Sad to hear. He was a very good race caller.

Uncle Buck

Man. He was young too. That\'s really sad. He was settled into his role at Churchill nicely and was becoming one of the best in the biz. Wonder if our buddy Vic Stauffer would like to seize on that unfortunate opportunity. Could be a good move for Vic.

Silver Charm

Not really sure now is the time to speculate on that.

Lets all pay our respects and reflect.

Life is short. Remember that.

Halo Fire

Who could replace him?

Tough call.

marcus

Hard to say who takes over - but imo , you don\'t \"replace\" someone like Luke Kruytbosch . Condolences to family , friends and racing for his his loss ...

Luke was a good guy and will be missed.

He was an excellent, underrated announcer, and by all accounts a good guy. He went way too young.

P-Dub

Distinctive voice, great rhythm, exciting phrasing.  Luke was a fantastic announcer.  Ellis Park will have a ceremony for him and is also considering having no announcer for the first race.  Also, a stakes race will be named in his honor.  Very sad day, condolences to all of his family and friends.
