Bustin Balls

That was some heady ride by Dominguez in the Gen George.

Just put away the whip away in the last 80 yards, gave the horse his head, and let him do the work.

Which he was more then willing to do.

No bet from me but I do appreciate good work in great competition.

Flighted Iron: Cheers about Dominguez, but not too sure about great competition. The entire field
got a free pass when so and so wasn\'t entered.

Flighted Iron: Not to mention 1:24 2/5? That\'s ridiculous.A zero probably won the race.Heck, maybe
even slower than a zero.

Bustin Stones: IMO i think he ran big. The 101 Beyer is down a tad from 105. I was at Laurel and the weather got pretty crappy right before the race. I thought Ramon had a brilliant ride and The Stones ran hard.

Silver Charm: I agree.

Flighted Iron hit a shank with that one.

Doesn\'t matter if its $5,000 claimers coming down the stretch. If there horse is trying that hard and are the jocks then its good competition.

Bustin Stones*: I actually crushed the ex and tri that race. I felt Bustin would go and he would out run the front end horses(Throng,Normandy) setting things up for Wine,Lord Snowdon, and Ryan\'s For Real. My x factor was Divine Park. I wasn\'t sure what he would do. Threw out Stormin Normandy when I saw he was sweating like a pig in the paddock. The time was slower than I thought but I agree with you Silver,Its nice to see a horse dig in like that and not want to get headed. Artie I talked with Steve and he told me you saw the post. Wish you were there. Be good bud!!

Flighted Iron: I love that last 1/8.Blazed home.Bottom line:Stones and company were the benefactors of actual graded stakes horses missing from the race. The 3 yr old
a other than 2 went in 1:25 3/5 and that bunch is running anywhere from 7\'s
to 10\'s and the winner carried more weight than Stones.Do the math.

Flighted Iron: They might as well have been nickel platers as slow as they proceeded. If you mean
it was a competetive race, then yes I agree, but by no means that bunch are
graded stakes caliber.

Flighted Iron: It\'s also very appalling to hear beyer give that race such merit.
