TGJB: Fkach-- so, do I get my 14-1?

(That\'s a gambling post, no more politics).

fkach: I\'m considering taking you up on the offer, but don\'t see why you would accept 14-1 from me when as of yesterday 16-1 was available elsewhere.

I think McCain has almost no shot of getting the nomination, but my line making expertise is at the track and in the stock market, not in politics and elections. If you want to wager with me at 14-1 and I can get 16-1, I am all for it. I never turn down free money.

I\'ll contact you privately with details if I want to accept a wager, but if you want details on where you can get 16-1 just let me know. Funding is a bit of an issue, but not impossible. Withdrawl is almost no problem.

marcus: IMO - I\'m guessing the emergence of a 3rd party that has Gore and a GOP defector on the ticket would be 99-1 ...

Agree with Jerry. And I\'ll bet that after Bush/Cheney are gone, they will command most of the headlines as there will be (new) revalations about their own criminal activities while in office. These will pale in comparison to \"Blewclintsky\". It\'s mind boggling that they have not yet been impeached.

dehere: Personally I find this brief political digression refreshing. Its always nice to know where the guy sitting next to you at the track or OTB stands on this sorta thing. I mean, why spend your valuable free time hanging out with a guy who might decide to waterboard ya if he gets upset with your leaving out the 20-1 fourth place horse in the closing super?
