is this an Unbridled/Summer Squall case? two horse clearly best, and they just reverse the top two spots over a track that favors speed a bit more?

or is this a case where horses that give huge efforts in the Derby become underlays running on two weeks rest?

I think Hard Spun will be the key horse. His Derby looks like a pair up or a slight forward move. The shorter distance will help.

I\'m guessing SS will be at a disadvantage at Pimlico because of running style and possible bounce off Derby. And he\'ll be 2-1 or less. Could bounce and then rebound in Belmont though.

Curlin surely bounced, possibly an 0-2-x waiting to happen. Plus 4 races close together. After Preakness, you won\'t see him until Super Derby.

The horse that intrigues me is Flying First Class. Gotta review the figures, but if I recall, he\'s fast enough.
