Read a story in DRF today about the dramatic change of odds at tracks after the gates open. This happened to me on Sat June 29 at Churchill.
In the 4th race I keyed Day\'s horse over 4 others in the exacta including the horse ridden by Danny Coa. One minute to post the probable payoff was $55.00. When I cashed, the payoff was $22.60.
I can understand the payoff dropping to say $45.00, but to $22.60? Something is wrong here.

Mr. Cee's Tizzy

It\'s the North Dakota player with the direct link to Autotote that does that occasionally with his computer generated bets.

One player can cut the exacta price in half?

This is the guy who took Monarchos down from $7.80 to $4.60 in the Fla. Derby last year so it\'s possible.

That\'s a big assumption Mr. Cee\'s Tizzy. How do you know for sure?
It\'s my understanding that this guy\'s link got cut-off last year when he was found out.  There\'s been some mention of this (him) just recently in articles talking about the testing being done on new tote software that will allow odds to be updated every 45 seconds instead of every 60 seconds. Can\'t help you Mark with your original question.
