Interesting gentleman;never knew he exsisted!
I wish this article had been geared more to the student of the game,instead of a general interest story.
Like ,what were his findings at Arlington?-could he have come out and admonished the grounds crew for all the break-downs that occured?-or was the surface not to be blamed.

Sounds more like he detects cushion repairs as opposed to a track that is biased due to moisture content (too much or too little) or certain paths that are returning better energy.Don\'t think this will cure bias at all.

If memory serves (and it often doesn\'t), this is the guy TGJB quotes (from the Las Vegas presentation) for the proposition that TG\'s method may be the best way to determine track speed.
