So in looking at the Met, here\'s what I found...

Mass Media-- Best on his best, but Frankel horses aren\'t running as well recently (note last 90 days). But  most of those were in Cal, where they\'ve put the brakes on certain things-- 3 for 7 at Belmont. What to do?

Sun King-- got big numbers in Kentucky, including this one\'s last. Here...?

Bandini-- Lots of non-competitive figures, one huge one, but Pletcher\'s getting even better figurtes than usual recently. Can\'t use, scared to bet against...

Silver Train--  One strong figure, lots that make him borderline. But Dutrow-- where was the White Mercedes parked this morning?

Wilko-- too slow, if the \'move up\" horses run their figures.

New York Hero-- did you hear the one about the horse with lots of bad numbers recently, one big back figure, going second time Dutrow? Where was that car parked?

Sir Greeley-- breakthrough figure should cause a bounce.

The Met is my favorite race of the year, this will probably be the first one I pass in 30 years.

By the way, the horse that set the course record (1:07:1) in the Jaipur was also out of the Tampa grass sprint where we gave the winner a zero, Ragozin and gave a 10.

Same all around. Thinking about pass too, want to see odds before committing.

Caveat, don\'t buy that Silver Train is merely a Belmont horse. You have to consider his efforts post Dutrow. It just happens most of those efforts were at Belmont. He\'s working up a storm and was pointed for this race. That last race was merely a tightener for this one and he popped the gate without coming out any worse for the wear.

Its a good race for the Supers. Greeleys looks very game, but as you indicated would appear to be sitting on a bounce. Still when hes right he keeps coming.

Nice call on the met , lets hope it\'s another 30 yrs until the met is a pass again .
How could rag be so wrong about that Tampa number and still be in business ?
Someone should tell them to start drinking AFTER WORK - NOT BEFORE ....

Jerry,

tough to pass on this one. its been a non stop parade of state bred and claiming races.

i kind of like sun king. his feb 2 race was better than it looks, and his last was no easy feat over that strip. i can forgive the races past 9f, that\'s not his game.

they all look the same to me though. let\'s see how the board looks.

Played the late pick 4 after not being able to \"bet the met\".  Alive with the Seattle slew colt and going thru Mass Media and Silver Train, thinking one of those two wins better than 50 percent. BBB

Good luck on the pic 4

The favorites range from 2-1 thru 9-2

Watcher...May the best doper win.

Silver Charm

Sun King all late double

Funny thing was in the end I couldn\'t pass, and ended up doing pretty good just by throwing out overbet Bandini, Sir Greeley, and Wilko, and boxing the others. better if the 2 wins though, both for me and those that took the analysis.

Almost Silver, almost. Nice Try.

Sun King is a one turn miler, its his best layout. You have to respect Silver Train off that pace duel. What an animal when hes intended. He should have been 6-5 in that field, but with all the Mojo Men there just wasn\'t enough edge.

Michael D.

nice tri with the fav on top - $194.

SK ran a heck of a race. too bad they couldn\'t get a framed picture with that effort. i doubt he\'s ever going faster .....

Michael D.

Jerry,

Did you look at the Hol stks races?
