does anyone know where videos of key european races can be viewed? i recall in years past, people sold DVD\'s and in other years they were even available free on various sites, but i\'m not finding ANYTHING this year. using thorograph sheets and actual videos, i feel it is so much easier to get an accurate line on the euros - this year with the cup being at belmont (a track usually kind to euros, but also a year in which the americans are PARTICULARLY strong (the mile and the turf for example), i believe it is key to separate the contenders from the pretenders if one hopes for a profit on cup day.

can anyone help?
many thanks!

Go to ntra.com -- go to \"Races\" and there is a dropdown menu that gives you race video archives.  I\'m not having much luck with it, but it has the QE II and a few others.

I\'m sure someone else will come up with a better website.  I vaguely remember some Euro-based site last year.  Good luck...  HP

Last year racereplays.com produced a video that had many Euro races on it. I can\'t find anything similar this year anywhere. Go figure.

a friend just told me this morning there is a link for free replays on the NYRA site that links to the breeder\'s cup. go to:
http://www.breederscup.com/ and scroll down just below the picture of rock hard ten, you\'ll see the link to race replays. you have to register but it\'s free.

It\'s a good site, but in some cases you have to wonder who picked the races to make available.  For the Sprint, I counted 3 races (the Met Mile, Tom Fool, and Ancient Title) that do not feature any of the horses pre-entered in the Sprint.  All of the Saratoga sprints have been excluded.

This is a great site...they are set up like DRF\'s Formulator, only better because the info appears immediately!

Put a horse\'s name in the Search for box - I am using Oratorio in this example.  Make sure the Search type is set to Horse and click Search.  In this case you will get 1 result (Mona Lisa yields 2)...click on Oratorio (in red and underlined) and you will be taken to his lifetime starts.

There are 7 archived videos contained here...including Leopardstown where he beat a rather stellar cast of champions - everything underlined in the chart is interactive, and you can get some amazing stats on horses, trainers, by track, money won and Stick Rate\".  For instance, Kieran Fallon\'s return on 1 pound to O\'Brien and Tabor is 16.66 pounds during the past year.  And O\'Brien\'s lowest rated track is Newmarket (where Oratorio had what I would describe as a good prep based on the chart comments)...in any event, there are lots of videos from England and Ireland on this site.

This site has archived videos of all the races run at Longchamp on Arc Weekend.  Once you are at above site, scroll down til you reach the final entry in the left hand column - which is Web TV superimposed on a picture of racing horses.
Click on this and you will get a pop-up with videos of the complete cards for for both Sat and Sun at Longchamp.

Watch the final turn into the stretch of the Arc and you will see a little white bird land on the lawn in the bottom right hand corner...obviously captured by the camera but not near the horses.  There is no race call, and a lot of rain during this race, you can even see the drops on the cameras.  But it is an incredible site!

Hope this helps - I would like to find some of the \"missing\" like the Champion Stakes if anyone knows where to find it.
