AFTER ALL THE MILK SHAKE TESTING THE MAGICIANS ARE STILL WINNING WITH ALL KINDS OF MOVES (CLAIMS MOVE-UPS MOVE DOWNS STAKE RACES ETC) SO THEIR HAS TO BE MORE THANJUST OATS AND WATER BACK IN THE MID EIGHTIES WHEN OSCAR BARRERA WAS WINNING WITH EVERYTHING IN SIGHT A OLD TIME TRAINER HAD TOLD ME THAT OSCAR HAD SOMETHING CALLED ANDURPHAN (CAMEL GOAT SHEEP) HE USED IT WAS UNDECTABLE SINCE ANDURPANS ARE PRODUCED IN EVERY ONE \"S BRAIN IT WAS IMPORTED FROM CUBA AT 200 DOLLARS A VIAL THEN IF YOU FOLLOWED RACING BACK THEN ALL HIS CLAIMS CAME BACK TO RACE WITH TONGUE TIE WHICH HE CRUSHED NITRO-TABLETS WITH DISSTILLED WATER THE NITRO OPENED THE ARTERY\'S FOR MORE BLOOD FLOW AND THE ANDURPHANS THEN GAVE THE HORSE AMORPHINE EFFECT THATS WHY HIS HORSES HAD A  SECOND WIND DOWN THE STRETCH AND THIS WAS TOLD TO MY TRAINER BY CHESTER ROSS WHO BACK IN THE EIGHTIES WAS HOUSED IN THE SAME BARN AS OSCAR AT BELMONT I ADD THIS LITTLE PIECE INFORMATION BECAUSE I BELIEVE THERE IS MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE TO ALL THESE TRAINERS THAT PERFORM MAGIC IN FRONT OF OUR EYES THAT THEY THINK WERE STUPID NOT TO BELIEVE ANYTHING IS GOING ON!

The milkshake test and detention barn thing is a grain of sand in the \"move up\"desert.The move up combo,illegal powerful pain med and blood dope,is still undetected.Track managements have tossed a bone to the players on the whole drug issue.

The usual suspects continue to mock the system and track management seems complacent with shakes testing and detention barns.Up until the start of the Saratoga meet,we have tracked the results of the move up trainers since the implementation of shakes testing and the dentention barn. For the most part, the move up trainers are winning at the same rate pre testing and detention.

Believe it or not, I was personally disappointed when all the fuss was made about milkshakes. I am aware of milkshaking a horse for over 20 years from my harness days.For the most part, I think that shakes are really old news used by small time scumbags, imo.Milkshakes are NOT what makes most of the move up trainers win, in fact I doubt the trainers I think are cheating ever use shakes. It is something far more powerful than a shake and maybe not given on race day.

With New York getting slot money, it will be interesting to see what additional funds are provided to the test labs. Research and development funds are necessary to detect the illegal performance enhancers and to enable the test labs to stay ahead of the chemists who are making the \"magic bullet\"available to the move up trainers.

Mo, if you think about ANY state allowing him to race, you have to wonder what the hell they could be thinking?  Admittedly it\'s an over-dramatization, but how crazy would it be for Nebraska to welcome Dennis Rader(the BTK serial killer)because he was only known to have killed in Kansas? Should Missouri recognize his \"Compliance Officer\" status and perhaps put him in charge of a girls school?  

Well, in horseracing, the serial juicer will continue to grow in stature, will undoubtedly go in the Hall of Fame, and will get glowing headline after headline in our honorable racing press.  Maybe Stronach will even hire him as trainer for his personal stable...(and they\'ll both get favorable press).

I\'m sure you guys are right that there\'s a great deal going on chemically that isn\'t being detected.  Yet, when someone is caught, with what IS detectable, an example can be made.  We can do what we can do.  For the others, freezing samples(discussed in earlier threads) offers some deterrent potential. raz

  Other than the all caps and the misnamed \'endorphins  \' thats a pretty accurate post.

  Maybe they collected all those tounge ties and one of the aging stewards did a sniff test.  Probably went home to his wife that night a new man.
