My key horse was Include. In my opinion a horse can\'t run slow early and make a huge middle move...run slow late and bounce. Plus he\'s had time off. In my opinion the bearing out was gawking. He won for fun. He\'s bore in twice before so i think the erractic stretch run is a canard. So hes my key. Just in case T-graph is right I have John Little on top too. I\'m ashamed of myself. Lets see what happens.

Thats what i get... losing twice in the same race. How do you like Jerry Bailey after that ride?

I also once posted the \"known stars\" of Macho\'s crop would not win a graded event as older horses. I was wrong. Macho really wasn\'t one of the false figure horses I was referring to. Additionally he did not compete in the Boys of Spring prep races, but he was a known star of the crop. So I\'m put in my place.

Its a good thing Suffolk Downs only has one big party day a year. If the stewards there  came under any greater scrutiny they might be revealed for what they are. It wouldn\'t have mattered a hill of beans to me, but did anyone else think Stevens mauled Evening Attire to get out from behind the front runners? I think Macho finished with better energy, but that isn\'t the criterion for determining interference. Maybe my monitor view wasn\'t what I thought it was. And, does Stronach have any interest at Suffolk?

What did your monitor show re whether Arroyo rode JL to the finish or instead eased him to get beat for 4th in the last stride by E. Molinari on a horse which figured to finish last? I wasn\'t satisfied with 2-1 and figured I could get 5-1 or more by keying MU over 5 in the sfc, which only required that 3 be tossed.(SB,G&ST) And then Mall was run over by the one & only Norberto Arroyo,Jr.

Hey, look, I was not gonna post because of the obvious flak I\'d get by folks who wouldn\'t know what they were looking at in walkover, but if anybody thinks Stevens didn\'t use a buzzer in this race.....arghhhhh!!!!!!!!!! Its just so damn obvious!!!!!!!!!! Horses don\'t get shut off like that, take up and win a sixteenth of a mile home and draw away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Watch Macho Uno\'s tail just after he took up. Thats when the buzzer was applied.

On another note, Bailey had no choice and the horse was eligible for a bounce. Wanna critice a rider for screwing up? Take a look at Bridgemohan. Glad I didn\'t bet this one.

thanks for telling us --- have you e-mailed the stewards?

hey, you should join in the belmont day contest --- you don\'t sell your picks, do you?

MO

I rarely wager anymore and had no wagering interest in the race. Its just that I have never seen a horse explode the way he did. Maybe thats how he runs when struck with the whip, so I\'ll back off on my original comments.

With an apology to all I may have offended.
I won\'t post anymore.

\"Its just that I have never seen a horse explode the way he did. \"

so, you must\'ve never seen a buzzer used before.

I think you can make an exception from your abstinence for one day --- it\'ll be fun.
doesn\'t anybody on the thorograph board use thorograph??
belmont day card --- $1000 bankroll.
as far as I know, anything goes.
post \'em up.

I use TG Superfreakicus, & am willing to engage you in a one on one contest. For reasons I\'ve explained, I don\'t want to(and don\'t particularly like your attempts to) steal the thunder from the friendly & sporting match between HP & DP. I\'m also not a fan of one day affairs for the reasons you\'ve identified(hail marys, etc) & I don\'t remember the last time I handicapped for \"bragging rights.\" I\'m thinking minimum 2 days(I\'d prefer 3), Bel the weekend after the big race, we each put up a minimum stake of $1k (I\'m willing to go higher) & either JB or Robes, or someone in their offices, holds & disburses the cash. How about it?

Michael D.

The real contest should remain between the two original mouths. I will post though, just for fun, $1000 bankroll. Anything goes I guess, but gentlemen rules should state a $50 min per race, just to keep the challenge from turning into a roll of the dice.

Michael D.

and Superman, when you get back from church, let me know what rules you will be using, I will use the same.

First I\'d like to point out the six panel time for the handicap was faster than the sprinters ran six in the Mosely. Granted those weren\'t quality sprinters. I didn\'t bet on Bailey. I wish he hadn\'t ridden Include in all candor. The odds would have been better and he couldn\'t have been rode worse. That wasn\'t a five wide move. That was an apron move. You gotta admire a ride where the jock takes back to go wide and puts his horse right on a sprint pace at six marks. Bailey obviously thought he was on tons the best horse. I never felt that. I just thought he was best. I don\'t think Include ran another negative 2.1. I\'m not sure he ran a neg 2.1 at Pimlico, but his figure will be as good or better than the winner. He didn\'t bounce. That bearing inside was a case of a lost animal wondering why the hell he was so far from the rail.
Include always runs a little ragged with the lead through the stretch. Its no secret now so the Thorograph analyist for the handicap can factor that in the future.

Macho Uno had the best late energy ability in the race. He ran like he did the day he beat Point Given as a two year old. But those horses in front of him were coming back to him much more than he was exploding. That was a very fast six panels. Picking a winner or tossing an overwhelming choice is the key to any race. Condolences you didnt cash Mall.
