On the Ragozin site, Friedman has announced that their customers will be able to download an audio seminar for the Belmont day card for $20. If you want to save a few bucks, you can download it after the races for $5.

Yeah, exactly. What did I miss?

You could make the case that the tapes they used to sell had a production cost  they needed to offset (the cost of the tapes). But the Derby and BC seminars we do are far more elaborate than what Len is talking about, and there is no significant cost other than labor. After the races have been run we post them for free, as we do with ROTW and its sheets every week. We keep them available here so that there is a free library people can use to learn how to use the product.

GD-- they are charging you, the customer, to learn how to use a product you will then be paying them for. It\'s one thing to do that for an upcoming event you will be betting on-- the opinions themselves (at least in theory) are worth something. This is something else entirely, and you have to wonder what they are thinking.

     rags used to have a dozen or so tapes that he would lend out as an honor system return policy.

     After a bit he charged $3 bucks to buy.These were taping s of seminars in a high crime neighborhood[police sirens would serenade us thruout]

     Now he charges a nickel for same...SO DON\'T GO THINKING THAT HE\'S LOST IT. THE TAPE IS FOR REVIEWING!!!!

     All that said..I still think very highly of your work ethic in presenting your product...is that enough to keep you from giving me the boot again??

     I used to fall asleep listening to said tapes and would highly recommend to those w/insomnia......By the way if the old man joins in you\'ll be able to detect personality traits similar to his other step son [twice removed].

     Could someone please direct me on how to string comments on this setup?...unless of course it would be deemed unnecessary.

It\'s not a tape. Tapes cost money. It\'s a download, like when you look at our Race Of The Week-- except it\'s like us charging for ROTW, after they run the race. Get it?.
