BANDINI out of FLA DERBY???

Looks like BANDINI may not run in the FLA DERBY due to an unspecified ailment. Pletcher was not on the FLA DRBY conference call today. CLOSING ARGUMENT also may not make the race.

With this ridiculous late date the Florida Derby day card now will resemble the Stallion Stakes Day at Calder.

Go back and search for a post last summer when the date change was announced, where I specifically stated that the Ky and NY horsemen were not going to be sticking around. They would return to their local circuits as always.

Get slots and more zeros in the purses and these same trainers will probably feel the need to, \"stay away from all the wet weather up north\".

But move the Fla Derby back to its proper spot. OK
