Couple \"interesting\" articles in tonight\'s online DRF concerning FuSham.

Privman talks him up:

Then Watchmaker puts him on his \"horses to keep on eye on list\":

Regarding the hype, what can I say?, but I can\'t help but scratch my head reading Watchmakers column. He stats the following:

\"Recent history tells us that important stakes races like the Hollywood Futurity are not the best places to look for a successful Kentucky Derby candidate...This speaks to an increasing disconnect between the form of 2-year-old and 3-year-old male horses, a topic I have written about before.\"

Well, I could be mistaken, but I think good two year old form is trending positive for the Derby and I\'d add not only for Derby winners. If you focus exclusively on the major two year old stakes you might be able to drawn a conclusion consistent with Watchmaker\'s theory, but I\'m not sure thats an accurate way to prove a premise.

92 Beyer is encouraging. Fast but not ridiculously fast and being under the care of a conservative trainer like Drysdale is a big plus for a horse this precocious. Be interesting  what sort of # TG gives him, inside trip and all but I think it's significant that we are already into mid December which IMO sets him apart from past 2yo's that were running lights out during the summer and fall that fell flat on their faces as 3yo\'s.

My guess is he ran about a 6.5 or 7, based on the fact the runner up ran a good race, and I think he at least paired his 8 (if I remember correctly)
