This not a strong play for me, but I just can\'t turn my back on Leaving on My Mind. He caught a funny strip last and had problems, but hes shown both a turn of foot and some ability to finish. He could have bounced last and he\'s run alot but its a fun race. He runs game. I\'m not sold on the quality of the Laurel Futurity just yet.

I just had a peak at TGraphs Red Board Room on the above race. TGraph had factored the horse I selected \"Leaving on My Mind\" as the horse with the fastest two turn figures coming into the race. They also had a significant X race for him last which I was not fully aware of. I attributed that \"poorer\" race to a first effort over a new and off track. In hindsight it looks like a little more than an off track was at issue.

My suspicion is that the Florida Stallion Stakes Colts that finished 2-3 are going to move up a bit next time.
