Something about that spot doesnt feel right. OK I get it Repole has Fierceness in the Alysheba and he doesnt want to run both horses against each other. Or Pletcher doesn\'t want to run both horses against Locked. Who knows.

But Mindframe is the 3-1 Favorite. I would not be shocked just off name reputation he goes 5-2 with Irad, etc. But there are about 4 horses in that race who are faster or as fast and 3 or 4 times the price. One is much faster and then there is Baffert who pulls Pratt.

Milliken is much faster and proven at 7F. Just worked in 1:12:4 at Keeneland so they mean business. Giant Mischief may be sitting on a big one.  He has never beaten this kind or even won a Stakes for that matter. But he is a price and the Pick 5 which ends with the Derby starts here. Brad Cox is 29% TOPS the last 90 days. And even he is a smidge faster than Mindframe.....

That is one race that stuck out.  Hopefully the M/L stands up.  Two others I like are the Knicks Go and the Derby City Distaff.  I think Liberal Arts and Ways and Means are overbet.  Good luck!

Thanks for the opinions. There are a lot of difficult races. The value as you pointed out is in beating favorites that actually should not be favored in the first place

Fantastic finish and classy win by Mindframe. I have passed on 4 races already today but could not pass on Brad Cox there at 17-1. And I guess I should have.

Saw Vinnie Viola owner of the Florida Panthers in the Winners Circle along with Repole and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Who led the horse into the winners Circle. Interesting DeSantis is at the Derby the day after the Florida Senate KILLED decoupling.

The degree of difficulty on these races the last 2 days has been a 10 on a scale of 10. The track is sealed and fair. One good Winner can make all the problems go away. Patch Adams the race AFTER the Derby got a little more interesting because Big Truzz drew in from the #14. He ran a 1.75 first time out for Lynch. And is a son of Justify....
