I have found it helpful to relate the current year patterns to the past. The obvious one is the big move in the prior race taking to much out of the horse. A forward move of x points usually leads to a backward move. I have thrown alot of horses out if they peaked the race before. I am still looking for this year\'s Cajun Beat!

I might stay away from the turf races this year  , they seem like the hardest races to figure because of the Euro horses. Unfortunately I think the Euros are where the numbers come up short. No offense Jerry, they must be hard to calculate.

Hopefully you guys will share any past pattern reads that repeat themselves.

Has anyone looked at past patterns related specifically to the BC? For instance, are the BC races typically won by a horse running a new lifetime top? Will a pair up of either a lifetime top or a recent top get the job done in the BC? Do any of the classical sheets patterns mean anything in the BC?

Take a look at cajun beat, pleasantly perfect, six perfections, and azeri for starters.
