From my perspective, this race looks to be a good opportunity to cash a nice ticket.

First, thanks to TG for emailing me the sheets for several of this weekend\'s races.

Friday \"The Miss Preakness\" race is a 6F sprint for 3 Y/O Fillies. Looking at the morning Line, two of the expected three favorites are the #3 Youalmosthadme sent out by trainer Brian Cox and #5 Lady Moscato sent out by D. Wayne Lukas. I don\'t know what Steve Byck or Jeff Franklin think of the race, But, I\'m not too fond of both fillies, while conceding that if either pair their tops they will almost certainly win. Even better, I like the other top choice #4 Launch even less.

The three fillies I do like are all listed at double-digit win odds - a big part of my attraction. They are: (in order of attraction)

#10 Discrete Ops - High percentage local trainer, a jockey unknown to me, some physical issues late last year with a nice rebound win last out. She need only improve a point to be a winner today. IMHO 12/1 and I like her chances of coming on late from mid-pack

#9 Cap Classico -  I suspect trainer Brittany Russell\'s patience in this fillies 3 y/o debut is strategic. I like the development line and she is already fast enough to win and I expect an improvement today. 12/1 and from a pedigree that I suspect improves with age and/or distance.

#2 Value Area - to date somewhat of a mystery, slow to earn her first win (for a Pletcher trainee) and stuck on her top (4 times now) twice @2 y/o and twice @3 y/o.  15/1 I\'ll bet that all the wet track races she\'s been in are holding her back.

Byk on his website has 5-7 as A, 3-10 as B.

They are all busy with Scottie Scheffler.

Now that\'s funny. I of course also played my choices behind the Cox filly so my exacta, trifecta, and even superfecta were stolen by sappie with his apparent 11 point jump up.
