We’re putting up the Saudi Derby and Saudi Cup together as a $10 special. We don’t have figures for the local horses, who don’t look good enough, and for some of the Japanese races, which may or may not be.

The Cup is about as good a race as the BC Classic.

Before purchasing and studying TGJB\'s analysis, a couple of points stand out which explain to me a couple of high profile entries.

A. The entry of National Treasure by Baffert initially seemed fool hardy to me. Then, I realized each of the top 4 finishers earn in excess of $1M. The race is only 1 +1/8. The BC Dirt Mile runner-up s/b prominent for a mile.

B. Those who have not followed jockey Joao Moreira probably don\'t know how highly regarded he is. Some claimed the best in the game. Then he went on sabbatical, vacation, political exile or something? last year. It\'s curious to see him re-appear here and on Crown Prince a land of the Rising Sun specialist. One with a ml price that seems inconsistent with his top efforts. The closest I can find to long shot potential.

Now I\'m headed to the Saudi Special write-up.

It’s not analysis, it’s sheets for the two races.
