Saratoga Special Guest

Started by P-Dub, July 31, 2023, 02:12:16 AM

Yes folks, the time has come.

P-Dub will be making his first ever trip to Saratoga race course. The same friend who took me to the Derby this year has invited me to Saratoga. I was told to get a flight to Dallas and they will handle the rest.

So a far too early Tuesday morning flight from California to DFW. Then board his jet and take that to Saratoga.

4 days at the track, fly home on the jet Saturday night. Back to Palm Springs Sunday morning.

Which T-Generates will be there this week?? Would love to meet some of you.

Hey JB, you can tell everyone I'm not as angry as I sound.

TGJB: Paul, I will not. But several of the backyard crew will, and you will fit right in. I'll also try to get you into that CAW panel Thursday, where you can point out that GG has now joined Bay Meadows on the deceased list.

Sometimes angry is good.

Michael D.: Paul, this was a bad week for me, but I'm now doing everything in my power to make it.

So they are opinionated, rarely wrong, sarcastic, good looking, and damn good handicappers.

Sounds good

175 miles north and back a hundred years, so, roughly, 3+sum(24x365x100) in hours.

Fairmount1: Michael,

If you make it, do you have the contact info of any of the old timers to come see us?  We have two diff locations we will likely be.  Hope to see you.  Been pre covid on a Travers Day i think last time I saw ya.

Ace: I wish I could be there P-Dub; we tried to meet up at either SA or HOL many years ago, but for some reason I couldn\'t find your A\'s hat. I haven\'t been to SAR since about 2005, there\'s no place like it.

TGJB: Bob, that's a paraphrase, and you're a thief

3 hours by car or train.

P-Dub: I did connect with Frank D.  The connection wasn\'t the greatest, I think he said he was in the woods. Maybe burying a body who knows.

Looking forward to our first cold one

I\'ll see you guys Thursday....
