What\'s the big difference between Helium and Rock Your World? Only one of them has 2yo foundation and he will be 5x the price. I was super impressed by his Tampa Bay Derby. If you haven\'t watched it you should. When do you see a horse win a graded race being that wide the whole way and re-break in the stretch? My one concern is kickback but at the price i\'m willing to take the chance.

Helium has had only 1 race this year & then never ran another prep & enters the Derby on an 8 week layoff.  The last horse to go from TBD to KYD, Destin ran 6th.  Also Helium enters the Derby never having a 1 1/8 race, which is virtually unheard of among Derby winners.  Here\'s more: Helium beat Hidden Stash, who exposed the class of the Tampa Bay Derby by running 4th, 10 lengths back in the Bluegrass. I don\'t believe that Helium \"re-broke\" at all, Hidden Stash hung late & couldn\'t get the job done & was exposed in his next race. Meanwhile, Rock Your World beat G3 RBLewis winner Medina Spirit easily & MS had already beaten LA Derby winner Hot Rod Charlie.  Going into the SA Derby, Medina Spirit was considered the best Californian left after Life Is Good, who would have been a heavy favorite if he had made it to this Derby, went down with an injury.  To class handicappers, there\'s so much of a class difference that Helium shouldn\'t be anywhere close to RYW at the finish.  Even Rock Your World\'s sheet # is slightly better even though he was always inside at SA.

That\'s a very \"non-thorograph\"response. This is a TG board. You can handicap class all you want but using sheet\'s they aren\'t that different. Helium was ridiculously wide last out. With that said I understand where you are coming from and know many will use the class angle to dismiss him. The class angle will land you on the 3 favorites. In a 20 horse field, i\'m looking for value.

You wanted to know why & I gave you some reasons.  If you wanted just a number response, I also gave you that: I\'ll repeat-Even though Helium raced wide, RYW still got a slightly better figure. I also addressed your trip comment with why I thought Helium didn\'t Re-break.  Since you only want to have a sheet answer, why did you bring up a non sheet question?
Now if you don\'t want a comprehensive answer to a question next time please say. \"I only want an explanation that relates to the sheet #s & nothing else.I don\'t want my question answered any other way\"  Then I\'ll ignore you like I should have done instead of trying to give you a rational answer to your question.

BTW, I\'m already on record as having Dynamic One in my top 3.  That\'s because I\'m looking at multiple angles & not limiting myself.  Next time don\'t title a post \"Help me understand\" if you don\'t want to understand.
