Not necessarily horse racing related but interesting article below about Saratoga Springs.  Some real cool photos in there including one of Hatties Restaurant. I\'ve heard how different it was in the old days \"up there\" from Uncle Bill.  Hoping we can get \"up there\" again this year.  

7 degrees here and I\'m Saratoga dreaming.  That includes a Hatties chicken sandwich in the backyard.  Hope all are well.

What was amazing was there was an historic drawing of the area and it showed the Wilson Mile Chute extended past would be the outer rail of what would now be the 1863 club. I never realized that. Will have to talk to Mike Veitch about it.

You don’t have to go too far back to remember the original Adelphi Hotel, place of my wedding before it’s demolition (the hotel that is) and it’s rowdy neighbor the Rip Van Dam, Mrs. London’s for brunch, and my fave bar and sometimes dance club, the Golden Grill. It was a pretty cool town in August before homogenization.
