In an effort to cure my parimutuel withdraw I’m jumping in feet first for Friday & Saturday. It started Sunday night with some casual looking leading to texts and conversations with Miff, Jimbo, Bee, Uncle Bill & the misguided Fairmount😇 My blood is reaching a slow boil.

However: I’m plagiarizing Jimbo, there are some tough favorites to leave out of this years dance..... I’m tossing STELLA & BELLA on consecutive days and suggestions about my mental competence have been asked.

Long layoff’s, a quirky track, full moon, tides, vets, hyperbaric chambers, chiropractors, climate acclimation and where they ran their numbers all seem as important as their numbers, trips, works, etc......

Hopefully out of competition testing, 6 months out for steroid use and the advertising of the most stringent testing ever level the playing field. Then again they can only test for what they know exists?

A question I’m surprised hasn’t come up here or anywhere. Why is Jorge Navarro not allowed access to the entry box at Laurel or Delaware but can enter here?
If I was on NBC’s production team I would bring back Tara& Johnny to choreograph
the you tube juice video adding triple axels and double lutz’s to “we fuck everybody” it would get an Emmy.

BC Pick 4:

Juv Turf: It’s a Chad, Chad world, a Chadzacta in a turf stakes? What a surprise.
The 2 inside horses as savers BP & Happily.

Dirt Mile: As much as it disgusts me Sharp Azteca gets the lions share of the ticket. This one brings his race with him EVERYWHERE. A strong pace advantage does not hurt. I’m tossing Mor Spirit, 5 pt top, 5 months off, gaps in work pattern, lots of chiropractors in B.B. barn, beat me....
Saving inside again GE, Iron Fist. I’ll play vertical here adding Midway to the 2 inside horses back and forth with Azteca, pressing SA on top.

Baby Boys on the Green:  Co toughest heat of the weekend with Saturday’s 5f turf sprint IMHO. I have to go 5 deep.
Mendelssohn, Catholic Boy, Masar, James Garfield, Hemp Hemp Hurray

Distaff: Tossing Stella, not the monster she was last year and will be bet  like she still is. Forever Unbridled rattled off 7 straight 0’s, a top in her last as a 5yr old, she can certainly win but my preference goes to the 3 yr olds.
Elate will be over bet, everyone says she looks the part, I saw a friendly team Mott member before her last Oklahoma work and she couldn’t possibly be any better. Normally a horse that is in Saratoga the 3rd week of October and racing in Cali on November 3rd would be an auto toss. However it was 60’s & 70’s the whole month up here, acclimation not a big deal. She gets 25% of my ticket.
Paradise Woods provides the value in the heat IMHO, she or Abel with be the 4th and 5th betting choices and to a horizontalist THATS HUGE. Her 2 Big SA figs we’re done with a lot left in the tank. She has had her clunkers, after all she is a fillie! Ooooops # MeToo.... A favorable pace scenario and my money says she can lead the merry go round all the way.

Good luck to all and safe trips for all participants,

FD

Here\'s hoping it\'s an \"Ali-like return to the ring!\"

If the ML (or anything close, really) holds, #3 - Sands of Mali will be burdened by a few of my $. 30/1 on the owner of the fastest (just barely, but refer back to the 30/1) fig in the race? I\'ll try!

Agree, and agree.

Good luck to you, too!

Glad your mini absence is over Frank.

As for the pick 4 my initial thoughts are why not take the five possibles in the Distaff.  Writing that Stellar Wind is not the same horse would probably not fly with the connections, nor others that value accomplishment. Agree, prerace, off the paper, Richards filly is the most likely winner, sent gapped, come and get her.

To me, the 2yo filly turf is a pair.  HAPPILY lays all over these on any meaningful measure, expect her a solid fave.  My thrust on the sequence will be on MADELINE.  Numbers aside, a ridiculous 20-1 ML, and by record setting 2yo sire.

Last pair better than the paper shows.  Two back, At York for the festival, she could not catch THREADING, a supplemental nominee, out of a full to Dubai Millenium and four Aidan entries,  Then in last caught Graded, three peat winner CLEMMIE a full to dual classic winner CHURCHILL.

Trainer Roger, \" she will relish firm ground, and needs to go further\".  Terrific connections, the talented boy follows and a good post at crazy odds..

Like your inclusion of CATHOLIC BOY. LaPenta due some luck, yet unprofessional jockey maneuver at Saratoga in last concerns.  Nevertheless a hundred pounds heavier than his cohorts here and a rank, rank ,rank, settled, exploded work enthuses. bbb

Good stuff as always Frank.

6) Happily with a great pattern marching forward getting Lasix for O\'Brien. Hard to get past her, I\'ll add the rail horse getting Lasix. Using these 2.

7) Who runs their \"A\" race?? Sharp Azteca has run very fast in a lot of different places. Out here last year he ran fast, but not as fast. If you give him his Malibu number, he isn\'t a standout he\'s just another contender.......and I really don\'t want this trainer to win this race either. If I do project him as running that Malibu number, then several in here can beat him.

The #1 is a little slow but gets the rail. The #2 has solid numbers, but can he run that number around 2 turns against this competition?? Toss his last and he\'s solid. Can Awesome Slew run a new top? First start as a 4YO ran a new top, is a touch slower than some others. Seems to be heading in the right direction.  At 12/1 I\'m adding him underneath. Agree with MS I\'ll let him beat me. B of M has to be used underneath. Geezus its time to shut up and pick one. Hoping the pace is fast enough for G$$ to get home Giant Expectations in an upset. I\'ll go 2,3 9.

8) Masar looks a lot like Happily. Must use as and getting 1st Lsx too.  The rail horse has to be used, as well as J Garfield another getting Lasix. Sands Of Mali gets Prat, and if you toss the last he is very competitve. Was thinking about Kent\'s horse, but drawn outside and a little slow I think he can hit the board but not win. Will definitely use underneath. Will use Hemp, hey I\'m from California. I\'ll use 5 here.

9) SW hasn\'t run as fast this year. If you want to believe she brings her A game tomorrow thats fine, but as the probable favorite I\'ll try and beat her. Abel Tasman treated me well on Oaks day, and has the greatest of all time on her back. Great pattern no way she\'s off my ticket. Forever Unbridled fast and consistent she makes the cut. Is Paradise Woods the speed of the speed?? If she can get out front she can take these a very long way. I\'m using AT, FU, and PW.

Geezus I need to get some sleep.

Nice to see Frank D post again. My brother has Archanova running in the undercard today and has been at delmar for over a week. He has a pretty keen eye and has been very impressed by the physical aspect of significant form, catholic boy,and Elate. So just a little tid bit for my TG friends to chew on. Crazy that my pick four ticket is almost exact same horse by horse as Frank! I am adding voting control and stellar wind. With my recent bad stretch hope that isn’t the kiss of death Frank. Thanks to thorograph for the great seminar, and good luck to all

Welcome back Frank!  Good luck this weekend!!!

I sure hope leaving off the fastest horse in Leg 1 doesn\'t cost me. Just really dumb. They teach you that on day one, don\'t get beat by the fastest horse.

Great. Mendelssohn completes one missed P3. Lets see if one of these fillies can ruin my appetite and complete the P4. I\'m live in the P3 to them, but geezus what an idiot.

Frank looks like you are live, Good Luck buddy.
