One would have to think that Carina Mia, assuming a clean break, is on the lead with Songbird chasing. No other scenario would lead you to think Carina Mia can win letting Songbird get the lead.

What happens after that is what has me stumped. Trying to create a scenario for Land Over Sea to get into the exacta but that may be a tall order if that track is playing to speed.

Good Luck,

Twice Songbird has been headed at the first call.  So if pace is irrelevant except as it concerns ground loss. Cara Mia should be able to attend the pace and still run her race. That would surprise me.

Cathryn Sophia could I suppose upset if the pace is a meltdown. But hard for me to imagine.

A rested and rejuvenated Land Over Sea could run second as she has demonstrated repeatedly. Usually because she doesn\'t try and run early with Songbird.

Catherine Sophia is equally vulnerable to Songbirds early speed (note her two losses). The problem is St. Javier makes few unforced errors.

The Rags board is chatting up beating a slow Songbird and c/b some here see it that way also. I suggest Servis or O\'Neil would be happy with the $200K 2nd place check and will use conservative tactics. After all it is only a G2.

Joe - I don\'t think your exacta hope is so unreasonable although not a gimme. In fact she has a mild case of seconditis to boot.

Good Luck!

Hoping for fog to burn off. Great day of racing there today.

Pa Derby smells of a bomb.

Good Luck,
