SJ and RHT paired their tops, rest went back a little.

So then Smarty ran another neg 3, which is a forward move from the Derby. I envision a negative 5 in the Belmont, and then Secretariat will end up like \"The Cincinnati Kid\" (Remember that line by Edward G. Robinson \"You\'re good kid, but as long as I\'m around, your 2nd best - might as well get used to it!\")LOL

jb, beyer has it at 118 and he doesn\'t consider weight or ground loss.SJ\'s previous best beyer was 108 so it seems that beyer evaluates the preakness as SJ best performance by app5 lengths.Seems like a fairly large difference between TG and Beyer. Anyone know what # the RAGS show.

As I\'ve mentioned here a couple of times, Beyer cut the Rebel (prev neg 3 3/4) loose from the day because he simply did not believe the race could have gone so fast, thereby robbing SJ and the others.

SJ has certainly been spectacular so far but lost in all that well-deserved hype is the fact that RHT could be any kind as well based on his first 4 starts.

He certainly has done nothing wrong to date and missing the Derby may gave been the best thing that could have happened to him.

With some better pre-race behavior, and a decent trip (he has had bad trips in his last 2) and a forward move in the Belmont (given his strong line with only 1 pt improvement off his first route race ever along his distance pedigree he has a decent shot to improve significantly) he may just make SJ earn his place in history.

It should definitely be a great day for racing at Belmont.
