365 Day\'s of waiting is over today is Derby Day!
I shall try and do my best FrankD impression, often imitated never duplicated.
Late Pick 4 from the Downs.

9) Converge got taken up in his last Brown barn firing new tops last 90 days.
Beach patrol nice steady pattern forward with a jock I have never heard of.
Ill take some Surgical strike at 20-1 hope the form transfers to the grass.
10) Not getting fancy here on the Baffert, American Freedom, no way is 6-1 happening word is he is Bafferts best 3 year old
11) Grand Tito 2-2 with Jaramillo, Bolo 3rd of the layoff could run his best here. Tourist has been running against some monsters on the grass 2nd of the layoff the one to beet. B.B.Kitten Brown pairs 40% of the time of the layoff
12) The biggie; Really like SBN going in not to crazy about the draw,he is my longshot play as well to win. Creator getting good at the right time all reports are he is full of himself and training good. Nyquist 7-7 can not look the other way.Hass ran the fastest 7f time and the Fastest 1 1/16 time one to beet. Brody cause training forward nice pattern if somehow he can find a pocket going around the first turn save some ground.

3-4-12/11/1-3-10-12/2-3-13-19 for $1 =$48 no whales in this house just a couple of minnows..

I know I am not half of the word smith that Frank is
Good Luck to every one today.

No race gets scrutinized, analyzed, over analyzed like this one.

It\'s a great day win or lose, certainly better if you cash.

Hoping Exaggerator proves my March play correct and I think he\'s there at the end. I have less confidence in back up (Mor Spirit). His last 2 works were off and there are people I know that like him that if they bet that the sun will rise tomorrow we may all end up in darkness.

As far as value is concerned, the 9-5 favorite in the Wood is 70-1 in the early wagering. His name has not been mentioned anywhere, including this board. Mor Spirit and Danzig Candy get a boatload of excuses for their wet track performances, but this one does not.

While I understand he has not improved from his 2 yo number, I\'ll take 70-1 to find out if today is the day he does. Working lights out with the ability to middle move with the best of them in here today. Trainer and rider not bad at what they do for a living.

Not impossible underneath.

Good Luck,
Joe B.

Hey, Joe:

He has tactical speed, he\'s 3 for 4, and he\'s bred well for distance. Is his name some Scottish version of \"Shag off?\"  If that\'s the case, we can both tell naysayers to do so while we both use him--because I like him.

I am guessing that Shagaf\'s price will come down.  Based on the doubles, he\'ll end up more like 35 or 40-1.  Still an interesting longshot though.  I think the Wood may have moved him forward.

Good luck with Exaggerator.  I like him, but can\'t bet him at 5-1.

Joe B; doubt very much he goes of at that price..
Word is he is looking good and training good, would not count out underneath in the ti and super..
Good Luck

boardedup

I tend to agree, he was dropped from the \"headlines\" after one bad race on an off track.  Would have liked more improvement but at anything over 40/1 I can\'t see how he isn\'t used, big strong, has shown the ability to make the move that works in the derby, I think Wood horses surprise the masses...

..Plus my mom called me today and said she was giving both him and Mohaymen another shot, and she\'s pretty sharp this time of year...

T Severini

agree with you jb the horse\'s odds and the wet track last make him a use
