Thats why we need ALL TCO2 results published. Its fine to keep hitting a 30, wouldn\'t you like to know which trainer\'s horse ALWAYS test around 30?

....more importantly, are they winning.

If you know the guy who won the Preakness is the \'most notorious perpetrator\' why then didn\'t you load up on his horse?

Cheating all comes down to the fact that unless you are behind the scenes and really \'in the know\', you are going on guesswork like the rest of us. Who\'s cheating and who is not is part of handicapping. In this handicapping puzzle we call thoroughbred racing, EVERYTHING must be \'handicapped\' into the equasion. We cant start picking and choosing which factors are relevant.

Sniffing out crooks is part of the puzzle. If someone gets good at doing it, they are going to be able to make more money betting ON the magic bullet horse than if they just throw up their hands and say, \"i can\'t beat the game because i can\'t figure out who\'s cheating and who is not\"

You gotta figure it out if you want to win.( or win more).

Personally, i\'d love to see all the cheats go away and have oats and hay racing. unfortunately, that doesn\'t appear to be happening any time soon. So, i have to make due with what i have as opposed to yelling and screaming about changing the rules.

We\'ve come a long way since Oscar almost won a big one with claim Shifty Sheik.

  Haven\'t we?

Silly post or you just didn\'t read my other posts.

My question pre-Preakness was (paraphrased) \'is the testing at Pimilico the same as the testing was at Churchill\', which was stringent.  I said Curlin would be a greater danger if it was not similar.

My point is: I can only bet on what I believe if I don\'t know the answer to the drug testing question.  I was told there is a horse racing show on Sirius radio on which one of the analysts discusses the movements of certain vets between barns.  If you are aware of such information you CAN bet the vet.

I don\'t take any of this seriously enough to care and bet as if everyone is honest.  I do this for fun.  But it gets wearisome at times to watch TP exactas come in at high odds at Gulfstream, where clearly the impovrished State of Florida Racing Commission does little if anything to oversee what goes into the runners.
